Dr. Jacobs is considered an expert in the re-evaluation of patients with complex pain syndromes, failure to respond, or multiple pain and addiction problems. Patients fly in and drive great distances for him to re-evaluate their pain syndrome. Many of his most successful outcomes have come from patients who have already been seen and treated by multiple different specialties. He and the other members of the team then work with the patient and their support systems to adjust a comprehensive treatment regimen that results in gradual steady improvement in the patient's ability to do more of the activities of daily living which will allow them to enjoy a happier and more productive life.
