Clinical Trials in Psychiatry

The UF Psychiatry Department is comprised of over 50 full-time Faculty. Many of the UF Psychiatry Department Faculty members are actively involved in clinical research. The Clinical Trials Division within the Department of Psychiatry has been conducting Industry-Sponsored clinical trials for over 10 years. Our Clinical Trial Investigators are nationally and internationally recognized experts in Psychopharmacology. We know how important it is for clinical investigators and research sites to meet deadlines and deliver accurate data to Sponsors and CROs. We are able to provide a multi-site research facility that is equipped with state-of-the art-equipment, experienced clinical research staff, and a highly efficient infrastructure that is solely dedicated to the conduct of clinical trials. Since 1993, over 50 Industry-Sponsored Clinical Trials have been successfully completed in:

• Overall, we have met or exceeded study enrollment targets 95% of the time
• We have randomized more than 73% of screened patients
• Over 75% of randomized patients complete the clinical trial
