- UF Community of Science Expertise database - Another way to receive grants announcements is to create an expertise profile for yourself in the University of Florida Community of Science Expertise database. You can do this from the webpage (http://expertise.cos.com/cgi-bin/addupdate/showAddRecord). Much of the information is in your CV. Once you have entered your information, the database editors in Baltimore, MD, will index your record and add it to our database. This will take approximately one week. Then, every Sunday night you will receive an email alert about new funding opportunities identified for you. If you participated in a Community of Science Expertise database at another institution, we can arrange for the transfer of your record.
